So I hadn’t yet taken the time, until now, to try the Snikiddy Fries, but I’m certainly very glad that I did. These baked French-fry like snacks have fifty percent less fat than regular potato chips, but all of the crunch. But I’m also drawn to what they don’t have – namely no preservatives, no corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils, and no nasty trans-fats. At about 130 calories per serving and two grams of protein, and three weight watchers points, these are a great, healthy alternative to French fries or potato chips.
The flavor I chose was called Bold Buffalo, and it had just the right amount of heat and buffalo flavor to make it over the top good. I haven’t gotten around to trying the other flavors of Snikiddy Fries, but I am sure that are equally as delicious. These healthy snacks are sold in Southwest Cheddar, Cheddar Cheese, Original, Classic Ketchup (that one sounds tempting) and Parmesan Garlic.
And, if you’re into clipping coupons (who isn’t in this economy) you can receive a $1 off coupon by signing up for Snikiddy’s newsletter on their site. I found my Snikiddy Fries at Whole Foods, but I also saw them at Target the other day as well. Or, if you like to buy things online, check them out on Amazon. If your dieting downfall usually involves crunchy and salty snacks, I definitely recommend these wholeheartedly.
If you are looking for some alternate crunchy yummy low calorie snacks, you might want to check out my posts on low calorie trail mix, low calorie pistachio nuts, or figamajig bite sized candies.
Enjoy!

Hi Juliet,
Do you happen to know approximately how many Snikiddy fries are in 1 ounce? I can't find the snack size bag in my area - only the large one - and short of counting out all the fries in that bag and dividing them by 4.5, I'm not sure how to calculate the portion size! Any insight you have would be great. :) Thanks!
Hi Sarah,
Erg... I don't have any in my pantry right now. Do you have a food scale or a measuring cup you could use to measure? One cup is probably a good estimate for a serving. Maybe 1.5 cups since they are a bit fluffy.
Hope that helps,
Juliet
