So today, I am VERY excited to introduce you to Galaxy Granola, a company that bakes their products using applesauce, not oil. And their granola is oh-so yummy and contains seventy percent less fat than other traditional granola. Now if you know me at all and have been following my blog, then you know that any product that passes my taste test AND has so much less fat than other options is going to be high on my list of products that I recommend. Yes, Galaxy Granola gets high accolades from me. Hooray for a new low calorie snack and low calorie breakfast option!
And what Galaxy Granola doesn’t have is equally as impressive. In addition to having no oil, this yummy granola has no artificial ingredients, no corn syrup, and no processed sugar – and no saturated fats or trans-fats. A quarter cup serving of my favorite Galaxy Granola (vanilla almond, and yes, it contains whole glazed almonds with the granola bits) is only 120 calories, 2 grams of fat, no sodium, and 4 grams of protein (so only 2 weight watchers points!). You can also choose from flavors like “not sweet” vanilla (don’t worry, it’s still naturally sweet), cranberry orange and raspberry (contains delicious freeze-dried raspberries) at 115 calories per serving.
I like to eat this granola on its own as a crunchy and healthy low calorie snack alone or with chocolate cocoa nibs, but I also like to sprinkle it over Fage yogurt with a handful of fruit, like blueberries, frozen bananas, or sliced strawberries. Or, even as a topping on low calorie ice cream! Or, by itself with low calorie almond milk for breakfast. This is a chewy and flavorful granola that you will adore.
And if you don’t want to take my word for it, Galaxy Granola is also giving away free samples of two flavors of their granola by simply filling out the form found on their site. You can also find Galaxy Granola at your local Whole Foods market where I buy mine, or online from Amazon.
Enjoy!

I have been wanting to try this for so long! Thanks for the review! I swear I would eat the entire bag! I think they should have individual serving sizes; although who only eats 1/4c and stops??!! I would try making these into bars! Melt some casher/walnut/almond butter, add some protein powder.....
