The flavor I decided to try is called pomegranate (which you can see in the picture). I picked it since I've never had pomegranate ice cream before! For those of you that don't like pomegranates, the cups also come in Mocha Cappuccino and Vanilla flavors as well (which I haven't tried yet -- let me know if they are good). The pre-portioned ice cream cups are decently sized (60 gram serving), and actually taste pretty good (although, I personally think that the consistency is closer to frozen yogurt rather than ice cream).
Since each individual ice cream cup is only 100 calories, you can easily add some low calorie whipped topping, nuts, cocoa nibs, or frozen fruit to create your own delicious, low calorie, and filling dessert. As an added bonus, the cups are also packed with probiotics (such as in yogurt) which contribute to healthy digestion and a stronger immune system.
The ice cream cups each have 100 calories, 3.5 grams of fat, 2 grams of fiber, and 3 grams of protein. All in all, these little ice cream cups make a great (and unexpectedly yummy) 2 weight watchers point snack or dessert.
Are there other Eating Right foods that you like that are worth checking out?
Enjoy!
Juliet
PS. Some other great low calorie ice-creamy desserts are Julie's ice cream sandwiches, Nada Moo ice cream, and Whole Soy and Co. frozen yogurts!

We don't have Safeway here in NYC, so I haven't tried their Eating Right brands. Shame, because I truly love pomegranate and would probably enjoy these.
Great find!! Hope I can find it next time I'm at Pavilions or Vons.
i've seen it, been curious, but never actually tried it. now i must
:D
This looks very tasty..
Sigh. The Pond only has Facist Grocery Monopoly store that controls everything and I ain't touching their house brand.
I like the Eating Right oatmeal. It's just regular oats in a big bag (only ingredient being oats); 110 calories for 1/3 cup. Perfect!
Those look delicious!
yum! i might have to add these to my healthy choice fudge bar stash (it's getting low)
Oooh, great find! The Mocha Cappucino is calling my name!
I love pomegranate! Sounds great!!
These look so yummy! I'm so glad you pointed these out...I'll definitely have to look for them the next time I go to the store.
The Vanilla is great!!! I have no problem with not pigging out on high calorie sweets when I have this ice cream in my freezer.
These are to die for but my favorite is Mocha Cappuccino. Both flavors are delightfully sinful.
I'd prefer eatting a whole 16 ounce pint of Arctic Zero for a total of 128 calories, than only 4 ounces of these small ice cream cups and a ton of empty calories. Don't get me wrong, the vanilla is really really good, but I'm looking for some substance. Arctic zero also has 20 grams of protein and no fat. Almost no time on the treadmill. their website is www.myarcticzero.com
What stores carry Eating Right Ice Cream Light Cups? & The Eating Right Oatmeal??
Does anyone know which sweetener they use? Is it stevia?
It has been a while since I bought this particular ice cream, but I am pretty sure it doesn't have any stevia in it. Let me know if you find out. I will also check next time I'm at Safeway! :)
